E+M+C Announces New Partnership and Leadership Structure
__________
A New Chapter for Events Management Consultancy
Events Management Consultancy has entered a new phase of growth with the formal transition to a partner-led leadership structure.
As of July 2025, Alex Morrisroe, Guy Rodger and Mark Scholfield have joined E+M+C as partners, building on the consultancy’s strong foundations and setting a clear direction for the next stage of its evolution.
This change reflects both continuity and ambition. It strengthens E+M+C’s ability to support venue owners and operators navigating increasingly complex commercial, operational and governance challenges across the UK events sector.
Founder Transition and Ongoing Leadership
Edward Hoare, founder of Events Management Consultancy, has stepped back from day-to-day operations and now assumes the role of Chairman, continuing to advise both clients and the leadership team.
Eddie founded E+M+C with a clear purpose: to help venues operate as robust, commercially successful businesses while respecting heritage, culture and stakeholder responsibility. His experience and perspective remain a core part of the consultancy’s offer.
“It has been a privilege to build and lead E+M+C over the years. I am proud to now hand over to a new generation of leadership who share the same commitment to quality, professionalism and commercial success.”
Edward Hoare, Chairman
Eddie’s ongoing involvement ensures continuity, rigour and strategic oversight as the business grows.
Meet the New Partners
Each partner brings deep sector expertise and a distinct specialism, strengthening E+M+C’s ability to deliver end-to-end advisory support.
Alex Morrisroe – Digital Strategy and Growth Marketing
Alex brings 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and data-led decision making for event venues. A former senior figure within The Concerto Group and a certified HubSpot Gold Partner, he leads E+M+C’s work across CRM, lead generation and scalable growth strategies.
Guy Rodger – Sales Strategy and Commercial Direction
With over 30 years’ experience in events and hospitality, Guy is widely recognised for his commercial insight and industry relationships. As founder of The Ultimate Experience and a key figure behind the growth of The Concerto Group, he helps venues convert demand into consistent, profitable bookings.
Mark Scholfield – Operations, Governance and Luxury Standards
Mark has held senior leadership roles at The Savoy, Rosewood London, The Hurlingham Club and The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain. He specialises in operational readiness, governance frameworks and premium guest experience, supporting venues operating at the highest end of the market.
Together, the partners bring strategic clarity, operational discipline and commercial realism to every engagement.
What This Means for Clients
Under its new partnership model, E+M+C is positioned to go deeper with clients and deliver greater impact across:
- Venue launch and repositioning
- Sales strategy and marketing infrastructure
- Yield and revenue management
- Operational readiness and governance
- Long-term commercial planning
The consultancy continues to work closely with venue owners, trustees and operators across historic estates, cultural institutions and commercial properties, combining data-led insight with practical implementation.
